Over the last two years, we've been examining new technologies and trends as they relate to the overall concept of "Open Program Guides." The resulting architectural sketches (below) serve as working blueprints for NetTopBox, our example of how program guides can escape the grid to create a community-based guide to media.

The launch of IMS Signals marked the first phase of these efforts to provide an open platform for navigating and mapping conversations and media. These architectural sketches were released as a supplement to our NetTopBox Status Report in order to give a glimpse of where we're heading. Additional documents and code will be released as development continues.
